Library

Creating reading habits since early ages is very important and it helps to imbibe love for books in the future. The school has a well stocked Library. School’s library is equipped with variety of books in English, Hindi and Marathi. Latest editions of journals, novels, poems, autobiographies, encyclopedia and reference materials of various subjects enables students to access, research and retrieve information for excelling in academics. The collection aims to encourage and promote a life-long love for reading. School always plans and tries to create activities to inculcate reading habits and gain for good personality through reading.

Smart class room

Classrooms in school are well equipped with Monitors and WiFi connection to make teaching learning easy and enjoyable. Secondary class Students enjoy learning with Digital Smart Boards wherein they can have audio visual teaching learning experience.

Computer lab

Our computer lab is equipped with high end computers for an efficient learning experience in a modern environment. The computer lab has internet access, e-mail access and provides an ideal environment for honing tech-savvy learners. All the computers have updated software and advanced technical aids to promote computer skills in students.

Science lab

School has a science lab well equipped with apparatus, specimens, various instruments, charts etc. students enjoy learning with practical experiments. The lab is sufficiently lit and airy with proper ventilation and sanitation facility. Students’ safety is taken into account making it safe and interesting place to fulfil the curiosity among young minds.

Music class room

Over the years, music and sports have become distinctive features of D.l.C. In sports, we are proud winners of various games at the District, State & National level. In addition to P.T. lessons our students get trained in Football, kho-kho, Kabaddi, swimming, yoga
and gymnastics. Sports day /week is conducted every year with great enthusiasm. All the students participate in this. Students are given opportunities to develop their skills in music – vocal, instrumental etc. School has its own band. Students are taught classical singing for concentration from Jr kg onwards. We had arranged music exhibition to develop their interest & knowledge in music.

Art & Craft

The Art and Craft one of the important part of skill development is given utmost importance in school learning. Art and Craft teachers along with students explore new ways of creative expression which is evident in school campus. Various workshops like Rakhi making, Ganpati Idol Making, Diwali Lantern making are conducted in school. Students are encouraged to participate in Various National Level Competitions, organized by Kaladarpan Art Academy, Rangotsav Celebrations etc. Students not only participate but also win Lots of Prizes in the same. Students are given coaching for elementary and intermediate Drawing examinations conducted by Kala Sanchanalaya, Mumbai. School campus is always full with the expression of artistic talent created by students. The artistic talent is expressed and visible throughout the school corridors, walls.
